English Teacher/Life-long Learner
As an English instructor, I make every effort to create a positive learning environment and build good rapport with learners. My teaching philosophy is :
I don’t teach, I make them think. This revolves student-centered approaches including activity-based learning and project-based learning.
Besides, I consider myself as a life-long learner. I am eager to learn new things and share my knowledge with others to build a better community of learning and teaching English.

Tam has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and a dedication to students. Based on outstanding teaching skills acquired from a CELTA course and a growth-mindset attitude, she is never satisfied with her knowledge but continues to research suitable materials and teaching methods in various teaching settings. I know that she has had to put in extra hours as necessary in order to prepare lesson plans with the aim of delivering engaging lessons and motivating her students. As a result, many students in her classes have transformed their English skills thanks to her great effort.

At the company, Tam has gained her colleagues' and my trust and support since she is always willing to share her teaching techniques and listen to others by putting herself in others’ shoes. Having great teamwork skills, she is willing to ask others for advice or assist others when solving a problem. She can demonstrate leadership abilities by initiating ideas to improve teaching quality in our teacher community and influencing others to follow that. Thank you Tam for your dedication and contribution!
